Coil and sheet held on site, cut to your list rather than to a standard length. The mill test certificate travels with the material and the turnaround is quoted before the order is taken.

The lines
Four processes on one floor, so material is not trucked between them.
Coil to strip
Up to 1,600 mm wide and 8 mm thick, down to 25 mm strip. Edge camber is measured on the first and last coil of every run and both readings are on the despatch note.
Coil to sheet
Any length between 500 and 6,000 mm, cut to your list rather than to a stock length. A list of eleven different lengths costs the same per tonne as eleven identical ones.
Flatness
Precision levelling on the same pass as the cut. Where a job genuinely does not need it we will say so and take it off the quotation, which is billable work we are declining.
Out the gate
Own vehicles inside 150 km, contracted beyond it. The despatch note carries the coil number the material came off, so a query six months later resolves against a mill certificate rather than a memory.
What we hold, and at what
A tolerance without the thickness and width it was measured across is a number that changes with the job. These do not.
Width, on the slitter
±0.15 mm on strip up to 3 mm thick, ±0.25 mm above it. Measured at three points across every coil, first and last, and both readings printed.
Length, cut to length
±1 mm up to 3,000 mm and ±2 mm beyond it. A shorter tolerance is available and is priced separately rather than quietly assumed.
Flatness, after levelling
Under 3 mm per metre on material 2 mm and thicker. Below 2 mm we will tell you what the line actually achieves on your grade rather than quote a figure that suits the page.
How an order runs
Four steps, and you have the turnaround before step two.
Send the list
Grade, thickness, widths and lengths with quantities. A drawing is welcome and is not required — a list is enough for a rate.
Rate and date, together
Quoted per tonne with the processing shown separately, and with the despatch date on the same email. A rate without a date is half a quotation.
Cut against your list
Coil numbers recorded per item. If a length has to come off a second coil you are told, because two coils is two certificates.
Despatch
Note carries the coil number, the measured widths and the mill test certificate. Anything queried later is settled from paper rather than from recollection.
Send a list, get a rate and a date
Most lists are quoted the same working day. If yours needs material we do not hold, that is what the reply will say rather than a longer date.
